If there was a face for the ABCD movement, De'Amon would probably be on the top of everyone's list. We got involved with The Learning Tree because he wanted to expand the listening work he was doing in Indianapolis (and other parts of the US) and saw the potential of technology to help him do that. He has been a great partner to work with and a great contact for anyone looking for help or ideas regarding the ABCD movement.

The Nevi Project

Challenge:

What does silence sound like? When your calling in life is to be a Roving Listener, it is a lot louder than you would think. The Nevi Project was created as a nationwide effort to listen to people in the community so local organizations and city leaders will know where voices are most needed for change.

Solution:

Working together, ZOIQ developed a national survey and conducted field studies to understand how people interacted with the project. We optimized the UI/UX to ensure accurate data collection across different scenarios, including door-to-door surveys, passive surveys in coffee shops, and guided surveys in community centers.

Execution:

Starting in October 2024, we started working with rolling out a platform with his teams in Chicago and Indianapolis to gather data to help city officials understand where they needed to focus their efforts in community-driven projects.

Outcome:

Stay tuned for more information on the project. We are still gathering data and will be releasing a report in the coming months.
