Biddie is a partner for Limb Design based in Houston, Texas. She approached us because we had cross-over skills to design apps and she had a client who she thought would be a perfect fit for the type of work we do. We partnered with her design team and together we built an app that is now being used by teens to interview their relatives about their family history regarding breast cancer. ZOIQ can not say enough good things about working with her and her team.

T4P - Mobile App

Challenge:

Did you know that Black women have the highest risk of breast cancer in America? We didn’t either at first, but that fact moved us to action. That’s why we eagerly partnered with Limb Co. to develop an app designed specifically for Black teens. The app empowers teens to interview their family members about their history with breast cancer, helping to raise awareness and encourage their loved ones to get tested. It’s a way to foster meaningful conversations, promote early detection, and ultimately bring peace of mind to families.

Solution:

ZOIQ was engaged by a third-party agency to create an app that allowed teens to interview their relatives about their family history regarding breast cancer and to create a family history so they would know their own risk as well.

Execution:

Our team focused on refining the user experience on the app, ensuring seamless navigation and intuitive design elements that align with the younger demographics using the technology and functional needs. The integrations were designed to streamline the interview process while giving the users the information they needed to get tested for breast cancer in their area. We also developed reports for the client to see the progress of the app.

Outcome:

There is an app on both Apple and Google app stores that is helping bringing the rates of breast cancer down in the Black community in America.
